Reverie's members are also all members of the Grand Rapids Barbershop Chapter Great Lakes Chorus. They sing a variety of a-capella barbershop quartet music and are available for hire.
Ralph Mueller (pron. Miller)- Bari; Ralph started singing barbershop in 1976, and has sung in several International Chorus Competitions with the Great Lakes Chorus, the first in 1981. His musical background is mostly instrumental (lower brass), including 7 years in drum & bugle corps. He sang in the male quintet Hallelujah Blend, and in quartets Menagerie and Grand River Serenade. Ralph is an ordained minister, and served churches in South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Currently he is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker AJS Schmidt. Ralph and his wife Rozann have lived in Grand Rapids since 2000. Robert Ryan- Bass; Robert was originally a member of the California barbershop Orange Empire Chorus. He played the tuba in stage shows for Disneyland and Universal Studios, as well as studio and street performances with Dixieland bands, marching bands, and drum and bugle corps. He has also toured internationally in the Continental Orchestra. Robert currently plays tuba in the Grand Rapids Symphonic Band and also sings in the barbershop quartet Vocal Artisans. He is a resident of Rockford MI with his wife Lisa and son Patrick. Jeff Chesnut- Lead; Jeff is a Past-President of the Grand Rapids Barbershop Chapter and has performed in the barbershop quartet Grand River Serenade. He is a Doctor of Radiology at Grand Rapids Spectrum Health. Jeff is a resident of Ada with his wife Dawn and their 3 children. Patrick Ryan- Tenor; Patrick is a student of Rockford High School. He plays synthesizer, piano, and guitar. Patrick composes music, particularly Electronica and Techno, and collaborates online with international vocalists. He also performs in the barbershop quartet Vocal Artisans. Patrick is the son of the quartet's bass Robert Ryan. More information available at GreatLakesChorus.org  |
